The Interchurch Welfare Society provides grants to applicants who demonstrate a need that aligns with our guidelines. Our priorities include child health costs, fees for camps/activities, emergency funding for individual health or specialist needs, firewood, and community health. All applicants will be considered, and we welcome applications from community-based workers within the Taupo Region and committee members on behalf of individuals known to the committee member or a community social service agency. Please note that our focus is on supporting those in need, and we do not provide grants for private business, sporting events, electricity accounts, or wages and rents. We do not offer loans, as we are not a lending institution.
