The Op Shop Taupō was established in 1973 by a group of Taupō churches, including Taupō Baptist Church, St Pauls Union Church, Tongariro Catholic Church, St Andrews Anglican Church, and more recently Church @109. Setting up a new not for profit called The Interchurch Welfare Society Incorporated.
The store's primary goal is to provide funding to local welfare providers and those in need in the Taupō community.
Our store is stocked with a wide variety of second-hand goods ranging from clothing and accessories to household items, books, and more. By shopping at The Op Shop Taupō, you not only get great deals but also contribute to a worthy cause that helps make a difference in the Taupō community.
